Standard PSM 5 ( TAM 146040)

PSM-5 or TAM, as it is more commonly known, is a specimen widely used by the aerospace industry. Composed of a brass base covered with hard chrome, it has one side cracked with 5 specific loads that generate fine and radial cracks. The other blasted side is used for washability testing.
