Standard Block ref. ISO 3452-3 - LP Standard JIS Z 2343

The famous JIS standard has a hard chrome (NiCr) surface with linear cracks ranging from 1 to 2µm wide and depths of 10, 20, 30 and 50µm. The defects are continuous from one pattern to the next, making it ideal for comparative testing between penetrants and for receiving testing in refineries.

According to N - 1596 H is indicated for:

Type I Penetrant Liquid - Fluorescent Penetrant the Type I block - 10 µm comparator (ISO 3452-3).

Type II Penetrant Liquid - Coloured Penetrant the Type II block - 30 µm comparator (ISO 3452-3).
