Pressure / Operating temperature of water for washing

Indicators and controls should be reviewed at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper adjustment. Indicators and controls should be calibrated in accordance with the requirements of the specific standard.

Calibration of Drying Oven

Temperature shall be controlled with a calibrated device capable of maintaining oven temperature at 71°C maximum. Calibration should be performed quarterly.

Cleaning of the Testing Area

The test area should be clean and free from excessive penetrant contamination. The check should be performed daily.
